Olga Vasilievna Efimova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, one of the leading experts in English language teaching for bachelor’s and master’s students, who study International Relations and International Economics. 

The area of her expertise includes theory and practice of translation, typological aspect of linguistic phenomena, problems of ethnolinguoculture.

She published more than 55 works. The results of her studies are reflected in scientific articles, reports, and presentations at university, all-Russia, and international conferences, as well as in the international scientometric databases Web of Science and SCOPUS. She took a linguistic internship at the University of Bristol, Great Britain; she took part in the Junior Faculty Development Program at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, following the grant of the US State Department.

In 2013-2017 she worked as a simultaneous interpreter at the training of the International Committee of the Red Cross, she provided the simultaneous interpretation at an international conference on ISIL counteraction (2016). She supervised students’ term papers and diploma works, took part in the work of the state attestation committee, reviews research and graduation works of students. O.V. Efimova is awarded certificates of honor from the Institute of International Relations, PSLU, and PSU.
