Anna Sergeevna Kachurenko was born in Pyatigorsk, Stavropol Krai, on August 18, 1985.

After graduation from the Children Art School in 1998, she entered the Pyatigorsk Branch of V.M. Vasnetsov Abamtsevo Arts and Crafts College, Department of Artistic Painting. In 2005, she graduated from college with honors.

In 2005, A.S. Kachurenko enrolled in S.G. Stroganov Moscow Arts and Crafts University, the Chair of Restoration and Monumental Art. While studying, she started painting and restoring icons, which later became her professional area.

She takes part in the realization of different project in this area:
icons painting for the iconostasis of the Temple of John the Evangelist in Mineralye Vody;
icons painting for the boundary of Pokrovsky Cathedral in Mineralnye Vody;
reconstruction of missing icons of the 19th-century iconostasis of the Archangel Michael Temple in Arkhangelskoe, Budennovsk region;
restoration of icons from the iconostasis of George the Victory-bearer in Pyatigorsk;
iconostasis painting for the Temple of Kosma and Damian in Sunzha, Mineralovodsky region.

After finishing the calligraphy course “Russian ornamental script” she is involved in the implementation of the projects of scrolls and different compositions.

Since 2019, associate professor at the Chair of Design, Architecture, Applied and Decorative Art. She gives classes in Academic Painting, Font Composition.

She participated in regional and interregional exhibitions. At present, she is involved in the restoration of oil and tempera paintings, as well as icon painting.
