Viktor Evgenyevich Mishin, Candidate of Political sciences, Senior Lecturer, Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations. Area of V.E. Mishin’s expertise includes global political process, problems of globalization, geopolitical processes in the Middle East, theoretic problems of international relations and world policy, theory of management.

V.E. Mishin possesses a rich experience of not only educational work but also practice in the area of international relations. For many years he has been heading the international relations of Stavropol Krai. He worked in Middle East countries. He published more than 50 scientific works in Russia and abroad. V.E. Mishin performed at the universities of Belgium, Spain, the USA, and Turkey as an invited lecturer. Professor V.E. Mishin reads the following courses: Theory of International Relations; Contemporary Paradigms of the International Studies; Theory of Politics.

V.E. Mishin is awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian Fund of Peace, a medal of the Shenandoah University (USA) for his contribution to the international academic cooperation, medal “For the Merits to Pyatigorsk”, certificate of honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Letter of Gratitude from the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma, medal “90 years of AULYCL”, a badge of honor “Honorary Worker of PSU”.
