PSU Takes Part in the Project of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation
20.05.2021PSU has become a participant in the global educational project of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The working out, testing, and introduction of a new educational program of Russian as foreign language teaching for schools of Uzbekistan is the principal goal of the concept.
The project is implemented under the direction of Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University. Artyom Levchenko, I year a master’s student at the Institute of Translatology, Russian Studies, and Multilingualism (44.04.01 Pedagogical Education, Linguopedagogical Models of the Russian as Foreign Language Teaching), supervised by N.A. Orlova, Associate Professor at the Chair of Literature and Pedagogic Technologies of Philological Education, passed a competitive selection to participate in the project. Before the departure to Uzbekistan, Artyom underwent training at PSU, supervised by I.B. Fedotova, Head of the Chair of Literature and Pedagogical Technologies of Philological Education at ITRSM). From March 1 to June 30, Russian teachers implement the educational program in the schools of Uzbekistan. The project gathered 100 teachers from Russia.
It is necessary to note, that during the whole that period, the Center of International Education of PSU has been rendering methodical assistance to the master’s student, who brilliantly manages the implementation of tasks and aims of the project. PSU indeed trains the Pedagogues of the 21st century. Cooperation with Uzbekistan teachers and methodologists is also one of the vectors of the work. This is no doubt a valuable experience in the implementation of pedagogic international projects.
